About 4215 Haverford Ave Philadelphia, PA 19104
Private bedroom in 2nd floor apartment, common area shared with other tenant (me) Great place for professionals and university students In addition to your own room you will pretty much have a bathroom to yourself. Utilities not included: electricity, gas, and internet (about $70 total right now). Required payments before move-in: security deposit, first month's rent, last month's rent, background/credit check fees. The room is not furnished but a bunk bed is available if needed. If you're into cooking you'll love the kitchen - I do. It's also nice to have a washer and drier! I personally like the location. There is plenty of street parking available and there are Drexel fields across the apartment, which makes for a better view from the living room. I'm a young professional, quiet, and keep to myself. My current lease is ending and will stay at the apartment on a month to month basis. Must make a minimum commitment of 6 months. Contact me to schedule a visit.

The City of Brotherly Love predates the United States, settled by the Dutch around 1623 with the building of Fort Nassau. The English later conquered the area, and William Penn was granted a charter that would become the Pennsylvania Colony. From there, this important city played a major role in the fight for independence and even served as the nation's capital for a brief time. Today, Philly's rich history blends seamlessly with its modern, progressive spirit to form a city unlike any other in the US.
As one of the nation's largest cities, you'll find a variety of businesses located in Philadelphia, including Colonial Penn, CIGNA, the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (the country's oldest stock exchange), and GlaxoSmithKline. The University of Pennsylvania is the city's largest employer, along with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Philadelphia attracts tourists, who come to explore Independence Historical Park.
