Property Ratings at 42 Hundred On The Lake
Current tenant .. can't wait to move. Constant noise, extremely dirty, cheap building, dismissive management. Please don't waste your money here. Its obvious that greed is their only real motivation with a constant revolving door of tenants. Worst experience I've had in any apartment I've ever lived in. Was looking for a peaceful place to live but was a literal nightmare. There are many tenants here who feel the same, but who do not leave a review as they are afraid to have repercussions from management. You will see below fake, positive reviews from people visiting the building, but not actually living here. [Lastly, you can bet that Becky/Management's response to this review will be using verbage that completely glazes over and denies any issues mentioned by me, as well as using plenty of scripted, marketing speak to advertise the building. Read the other review's responses. Pretty pathetic.]

The lake view we have is incredible and the main reason we decided to live here. I will say, the walls are thin so you will hear your neighbors every move, and if they have pets....good luck. In addition to this - the "free" parking lot fills every day by 4-5pm, and the $120/month indoor garage will not have spots in the winter months. $60 daily tickets from the local PD for parking in your own "free lot" don't make you feel very welcome. The amenities are ok, but don't really make up for the negatives and pricey rent. One year is plenty for us.

While you are correct that our outside parking is free, it is still on a first come first serve so we are not able to guarantee spots for all our residents and their guests. As you can imagine, parking along the lakefront area is limited and the only guaranteed parking is in our underground garage, which has plenty of spots still available (even in winter). We would love to discuss any other issues that have come up for you as we truly want everyone to feel welcome, happy and comfortable in our community. Our door is always open to you. I would not recommend you move here. There are multiple reasons listed in these reviews, that amenities do not compensate for. Sadly we moved out after six months.
If you're looking for awesome lake views, a friendly staff and great amenities, then 4200 on the Lake is the place for you.

The location is amazing, the lake view sells itself. Amenities are also pretty good. The cleaning staff could be a little more attentive, little pieces of trash and outside dirt will sit in the halls for a few weeks before someone gets around to it. My neighbors will play loud music, stomp around and they make life less peaceful. I guess Management can’t police everyone but worth noting the price point here definitely doesn’t help to keep out inconsiderate people and there’s a lot of college aged kids. The units themselves are new and nice, so if you’re not bothered by noise this could be a good option.
