409 On Nine

I just moved in and so far, I’m really enjoying it. The apartment gets great natural light, which makes it feel warm and welcoming. The amenities are lovely. The staff has been incredibly kind and helpful during the move-in process. Desmond is an absolute star. The area seems lively and fun with lots of restaurants nearby. Overall, a great start, cheers!

Responsive, kind, and helpful so that my move in went smoothly. I appreciate how easily I can talk to management for any issues. I hope the next few years will be just as good

Great location and modern apartments. Only downside is it's pretty pricey and they will raise your rent significantly. Desmond is the absolute best at ensuring all maintenance issues are resolved timely.

Had a terrible time when trying to resign my lease. Was disappointed in how the staff treated me. My rent went up $300 9 months after signing my lease when in previous years it was only $100

Residents are nice but building is worn for how new it is. Staff isn’t given a lot of tools to be helpful, they are short staffed and not open on weekends, alarms are constantly going off and packages are not left in the designated room so you can’t get them until someone is in the office. Overall, not impressed by our experience here regardless of convenient location.

So far everything has been very smooth, management has been extremely responsive and awesome with the move-in process and answering any questions or concerns I may have!

Mikaela was a huge help and the move in went smooth. I have everything I need and appreciate the community. Overall I have no complaints and very happy.

Nothing but good things to say about the community. Clean friendly and safe. Nothing more I could really ask for here. The location to everything and neighborhood is great.

So fair, so good. Pricey but I plan on renewing my place to be honest. Office people are nice and it’s fairly quiet. I’ll hear some dogs from time to time but that’s ok. Only complaint is the garbage people doing their thing as early as 6am… lol

Very nice, very clean place to live. Great atmosphere. The construction next door can be noisy, which will get better i am sure. I recommend the place.

I love it here the counters and floors are so nice. I think I like the way the building is set up with the parking garage underneath and the elevators at each end.

Love it here. The area is clean and the downtown is very nice. Everything is close by. The management is very receptive to feedback and repsonds quick.

The apartment is just ok, can be dirty in the hallways at times and a few community members smoke marijuan in the building I think there are better options but the price is why I’m here.

Lovely apartment space which has well functioning appliances. The building is located in downtown Ferndale so you can easily walk to many different shops or restaurants.

409 has been an amazing place to live. The amenities are great, good kitchen, laundry in the unit, spacious areas, and a gym that has enough equipment. It is so convenient to get to and from no matter where you are. The people have been very nice and I have had no problems so far.

Apartment is decent all around with minor issues that usually are solved quickly. Overall, the location is the biggest selling point. Parking is expensive at around 75-100 per car depending on if you are outside or inside.

The apartment feels very new and clean. Everything has been working great and the neighbors and leasing office workers are all nice and friendly

Gym really needs updated equipment and setup. Workout bench and treadmills are old and outdated and don’t work well. Hallway smells like smoke or weed often, even though it’s supposed to be non-smoking.

I've really enjoyed living at 409 on 9. The front office staff is incredibly nice and accommodating and maintenance is quick to assess and fix any issues. It's great that the building is a relatively new build with updated amenities and appliances. People have been friendly around the building.

I’ve had no issues living here. Apartment is nice and I have not had any issues with any of my appliances! Very new, modern finishes which I love.

I love living here. There is a great community atmosphere, and the property manager and maintenance do a great job. Maintenance requests being completed in less than 24 hours make my life so easy and I appreciate the efforts the property manager makes to hold events and make this a nice place to live. There are some things I would like to change, like the tightness of the parking structure, peep holes in the doors, and the package room closer to the elevator, however, they are minor inconveniences in the grand scheme of things. Everything I was looking for in a place to live is here at 409 - my expectations have been met or exceeded with everything. Definitely worth what you pay for, and I would recommend others to live here.

Excellent location and a nice quiet places with lots of adorable dogs. Only qualm is the noise behind the building in the morning. Been a lot of trucks.

It’s okay no complaints. Just wish the amenities were better for fitness. The gym equipment is dated and the treadmill is broken. My unit though is good

So far so good. I moved in on the 24th and I love my new place. The community is quiet and clean. Accessibility is an ease and the leasing staff have been extremely helpful.

I've been here one month and it's been really great. I've had some loud and unsettling living experiences before this so it feels wonderful to finally be in a place that's calm, respectful, and built well. So far so good!!

The place has been perfect so far. The rooms have everything I need. Easy to get in and out, clean, gym has been nice to us. Parking lot is easy. Everything has been great.

I came to live here I need of a place quickly. I was able to get a tour and a move in date in an expedited manner. I was able to have my two Great Danes The dog amenities are a great. This has been a quiet place to live. It is always very clean. The staff are very friendly.

I’ve lived here for 3 years now and I’m happy with the community and the management. Super nice, quick responding and I’ve always had good neighbors.

Honestly management could be more friendly when reaching out. Package room should be organized daily by an associate before they leave for the day. Communication can be better

Kim is the best. All my new neighbors seem really nice. 409 is a nice place to come home to. Nice city feel, yet very homey. Everything you need is close by. Maintenance is friendly and able (Desmond is great!). Happy with my move to 409!

Apartment is great. Location is ideal. Staff are helpful. The apartment is equipped with quality appliances. Energy bills are right where they should be (not too high; but reasonable).

Have nothing but great things to say about 409 on Nine! The environment is clean and friendly. The service and maintenance department fixes any problems swiftlyand effectively. Would recommend it to anyone looking to rent in the area!

Overall nice experience. It would be nice if more community events would take place. There is not much happening to allow interaction with residents.

I have been in this apartment for almost 2 weeks and I have loved every second of it. The apartment itself is great and the few people I have met have been nice and welcoming. I’m looking forward to living here.

Good so far. Any issue we’ve had in our move in has been promptly fixed my management. I am excited to live here. I think the location is great.

I love living here! My time has been pretty comfortable and enjoyable here thus far. My only concern is that the walls and flooring are a bit thin. My neighbors above me can be really noisy in everyday life and I can hear conversations from next door —however the amenities, office staff and location is worth it. My apartment is cozy and conveniently designed. 409 on Nine is definitely a gem of Ferndale.

Honestly, I love my apartment here and have had no issues with anything. It's a great location and management has been easy to work with for me. The only downside is that it's pretty expensive, especially with added parking fees. I wish I could keep living here.

I have lived at 409 since October 2020. Do not waste your money on this insanely overpriced rent. I tried justifying the rent because of the amenities (I also have 2 large dogs and the community is dog friendly). However the horrible staff here makes this a miserable place to live. There is zero communication from the office, they take no accountability for their errors, and they are just all around lazy. Nothing has improved here even though I message management monthly with concerns. The property is not maintained at all. The trash bins are overflowing daily including the dog poop. Maintenance has repeatedly missed appointments. The “package locker” is non existent. It’s just an unorganized mess of boxes you have to search thru for an hour to find your package. I could rant all day. I can not wait to move out of this place.
