This historic 1905 apartment building has lovely views of the neighborhood and is less than a 15 minute walk to all that downtown Portsmouth has to offer. Among the numerous renovations, the house has been newly resided with high quality Hardie Board, and has been very well insulated, making the apartments quiet and cozy and keeping utility costs low. With newer windows, newly installed and upgraded water and electric service, as well as a sprinkler and monitoring system for additional safety, the attention to detail is quite evident. Inside this lovely, freshly painted unit is filled with natural light. It has a new professionally designed eat-in kitchen with granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, ice maker, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a new tiled bathroom with a large walk-in shower and a vanity with a quartzite top not to mention storage for towels and linens. New luxury carpeting in the living room, bedrooms and hallway adds to the beauty and quietness of the apartment. Unlike many historic properties, this unit has plenty of closet space. In addition, there is a laundry closet with a new washer and dryer. New mini-splits for heating and cooling, and a dedicated water heater plus 100 AMP service makes for the perfect living space. Keypad door access adds to the convenience of the unit. Minimum credit score of 680. Absolutely no smoking on the premises. Up to two cats allowed with prior approval and a monthly fee of $40/month for one cat and $70/month for two. Parking for TWO vehicles is included in the rent as is water/sewer and snow removal.
