Manhattan Beach is a thriving coastal community just southwest of Los Angeles proper. The Downtown district near the foot of the Manhattan Beach Pier is packed with terrific and unique restaurants, bars, specialty shops, and even a few art galleries. Manhattan Village shopping mall on the northeast side of town provides an even bigger selection of retail options.
