Located in the area once known as “The Graveyard of the Pacific,” Warrenton is home to the expansive Fort Stevens State Park, which touts a historic shipwreck from 1906—the Wreck of the Peter Iredale—in addition to beautiful beaches, trails, and a fort.
Warrenton hosts a slew of quaint shops and diverse restaurants along Main Avenue as well as stately Victorian homes on picturesque hillsides. Lewis and Clark National Historical Park is just south of Warrenton, offering a look into the past along with plenty of opportunities for adventure. Astoria is just five miles west of Warrenton as well, with abundant historical amenities and a vibrant downtown area. Big-city living isn’t too far from Warrenton either, with Portland just 90 minutes’ driving distance away.
