The Ponderosa is complete with two (2) bedrooms, full bath, gigantic living room and kitchen with cathedral ceilings and the open floor plan for which log homes are famous. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel this is not the place for you. The Ponderosa is best described as luxurious camping: The bathroom shower has log-siding around the shower stall that creates an 1800's Old West feel; the kitchen water takes 5 minutes to get scalding hot; and just outside your front door are 10 horses at pasture, a cozy campfire pit and a grill for outdoor barbeques. Our guests love our luxuries too: a 55" LCD TV with DVD player and satellite radio; a Texas-sized 12' long wooden breakfast bar; central air and propane heat, Wi-fi service, cable TV, Washer and Dryer - and best of all our famous 1,400 sq. ft. DECK on a 2nd story overlooking breathtaking views. PONDEROSA LODGE ONLY (NO horseback trail rides) - $150/night for Two (2) guests; $25.00/night for each additional guest. RENT BY THE MONTH: We also offer 1 year leases to rent this romantic Ponderosa Lodge by the month at $1,500/month ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED! HORSEBACK TRAIL RIDING: Wildfire Ranch is proud to offer the only Guided Public Horseback Trailriding left in all of Central Pennsylvania. Our horses are a mix of Tennessee Walkers and Missouri Fox Trotters, gentle enough for beginner riders. We are also the only public trail riding stables to offer our guests trotting and cantering during their mountain horseback adventures!
