Caloosahatchee sits one mile north of downtown Cape Coral, Florida, and around 10 miles south west of downtown Fort Myers. Caloosahatchee sits on the west bank of the Caloosahatchee river in a canal-filled suburb of Cape Coral. The area is mainly residential with shops and restaurants lining the southern boundaries of the area.
