THIS OFF-SEASON RENTAL AVAILABLE NOW THROUGH THE END OF FEBRUARY Outdoor living is at its best at The Feighery Tail: with a firepit seating area in the front, and a shaded HOT TUB patio in the back yard, complete with a generous cushioned outdoor living room. Our charming Oak Island cottage is a .7 mile stroll to the beach down a sleepy lane. (Or a three minute drive.) Swim, surf, and sun yourself and then walk to Grocery stores, Barbecue, Ice Cream, and Putt Putt, all close by. If you prefer to fish the marshes or run out to the inlet from the ICW, boats and trailers are no problem and there is ample parking. The public boat ramp is super close! Screened-in porches, a hot water outdoor shower, and a gas grill make this the perfect island vacation house year-round. Our street is a straight walk through to the beach access. Nearby Middleton Park provides food trucks and a cabana with showers/ restrooms. You will have easy access to the splash pad, skate park, and baseball fields if you need a diversion from the sand for a while. And don’t miss stopping for a Dole Whip from a nearby food truck. Our home is an easy visit to grocery shopping, dining, and bar spots, as well as various ice cream, coffee, and donut options. **Please contact Ann at Sea Coast Rentals for further information and/or to check available dates. Oak Island is a small beach town on the southern coast of North Carolina, about 40 minutes southwest of Wilmington. Spread across miles of shoreline, Oak Island features sandy beaches, fishing piers, boat ramps, and marinas, making it the ultimate location for watersports from fishing to boating. Along with relaxing on the beach, residents play mini-golf or ride their bikes to grab an ice cream on a summer day.
