Kihei boasts six miles of gorgeous beaches, offering abundant opportunities to go swimming, surfing, snorkeling, kayaking, boating, and more. Additional recreational activities abound at the vast Kalama Beach Park and its many athletic facilities. Kihei is also home to the Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, where visitors can learn more about marine life and spot magnificent humpback whales. Small shopping malls, a popular farmers market, and a bevy of restaurants are all located in Kihei as well, providing plenty of modern conveniences to Kihei residents and visitors. Getting around Kihei is simple with access to buses and the Kahului Airport.
