Ohio City remains a premier neighborhood in Cleveland. Historic houses play neighbor to modern condos only two miles southwest of Downtown Cleveland. New developments continue to thrive in the diverse atmosphere, supplied with residents and visitors via the I-90, I-490, and U.S. 6.
As a hub of commerce, the neighborhood has grown rapidly. Local restaurants, breweries, and bars have increased the draw of the area. West Side Market is a popular attraction for Ohio City, serving up boutique food like baked goods and craft ice cream. There’s also convenient access to Lake Erie and photo-worthy waterfront views along Edgewater Park. The community’s prominent art scene can be appreciated at numerous art galleries, antique shops, and specialty stores.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at 32 West
If zero stars were possible, I’d rate these apartments zero. The good reviews are totally fake, or they bribe residents for good reviews. Heat and A/C constantly went out and would take months to get fixed. Maintenance & management would go into apartments while residents were gone for “repairs” that would leave the apartments dirty & would eat food out of the fridge, on top of that they wouldn’t lock the door when they left! Multiple instances of package theft & apartments being robbed here. When moving in, the apartments were dirty. The parking garage door wouldn’t work half the time. It was almost impossible to get anyone on the management team to respond to emails or phone calls, they were hardly ever in the office on site too. All in all, just a terrible experience that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Save your time and sanity, avoid this place or any complex under this management company.
I’ve lived in Cleveland for five years and this by far has been the best experience thus far! From working with the leasing company to find the perfect apartment, to the move in experience and to now living here they do a wonderful job. I’m really happy here- thank you MPG!!
The reviews are all true, avoid renting here if you can. Over the course of living here for 15 months we have had working AC and heating for less than half. Ohio Tenant Law states that heating must be provided, and yet, during the winter months we were without heating and into the spring without AC. To their very minor credit they did offer us $200 off on account of "disruption of the AC installation", even though we had requested $500/month for 3-months that the AC and Heat were not working. After countless discussions with management, when they can be reached, they did not offer us any rent concessions for advertising an apartment that did not have working AC or heat. The management company finally decided to install units, but this is after over a year (and more if you read others experiences) of people complaining. Furthermore, management is hardly around and extremely difficult to reach making resolutions drag out and forcing tenants in a position where they risk hurting their credit if they don't pay rent for apartments that aren't as described. To add to this, none of our maintenance requests showing the numerous requests made are in the resident portal so you cannot review the previous requests made. I don't write a lot of reviews because in general, I find things can usually be worked out. This is not the case here, and I would strongly caution anyone considering living here to find somewhere else. Given the cost and general condition of these apartments, you can do better for the same or less.
Let's start with the positives which doesn't change my 1 star rating. Underground parking is nice if you want to pay the $150 / month (spaces are very close together and close to pillars. Skyroom is cool but you will rarely ever go in it. Gym is better than nothing. It's small. Now the negatives. First off when I moved in back in October of 2021 I recall the building soliciting gift cards for anyone will to leave a positive review. That's unethical in my opinion but I get it. The correspondence between tenant and management is terrible. No record of my messages once sent and no one ever follows up. Literally never. I leave for out of town and usually my lights are on multiple times??? Turn my heat off, I come back and it's 85 degrees heat blaring. The heat wasn't working for a total of half a month in the cold of winter, I heard of a reimbursement from staff and nothing ever came. I've heard the air conditioning doesn't work either (hvac) but have not tested it yet. Same system so i'm sure it will be a hot mess (pun) intended. The hvac system is trash it never works but I still get charged and this month I got charged more than double for something that never works and randomly gets set to 85 degrees and no one responds to any messages about any of this. It's like they don't care and will just take your money. For what you pay you can do better basically anywhere else. DO NOT waste your money here. They do not care about their tenants from what I can tell. for me it's the massive lack of communication and doing what's right ahead of time. Not me having to complain and complain. It gets old.
