About This Property
3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 1652 sqft, unfurnished, minimum one year lease, weekly lawn service included Spectacular home. Built around 1915 by a wealthy banker from up north. Some say it was once part of an old horse farm. The house has been totally restored. In excellent taste. Coffered ceilings. Nice trim work by a master carpenter. Awesome kitchen with work island, or eating island. Stainless appliances and granite counters with classic white subway tile and white shaker cabinets. Two wine coolers (one for red, one for white) are built into the rock accent wall. The original 100-year old leaded glass corner cabinet is still there. There is a nice pantry under the stairs with a divided light door. The powder room is just off the sunroom. Sunroom was once the old porch. It is now a great family room as French doors lead to tiered deck and paved court yard below. The open floor plan on the first floor makes this home a great place to entertain. Full size stack washer/dryer is on the second floor with the bedrooms. White Carrara marble in all bathrooms. Master bathroom is bright and sunny with two glass walls and high window in the shower. Double sinks and an extra make-up counter complete the space. The nearby walk-in closet has a window seat. It overlooks the garden. Second bathroom has bathtub and shower. The courtyard faces the back of an old carriage house. It makes a formidable back drop with added privacy. Vines grow over the arbors. Slatted hurricane shutters cover the upper windows. The old triple-tiered fountain has been there for years. Its' water sound drowns out any city noises. Sit in the backyard and you are surrounded by a lush butterfly garden, mature palms, a six-foot wooden fence and an old carriage house. You don't even know you are in town. Keep a car in one of the private garages and enter it from the alleyway or use the area for storage. There is also a personal driveway in the front. Dogs are accepted on a case-by-case basis with a $400 pet fee (50% non-refundable), but cats are not permitted due to potential allergies of other tenants. This more urban location in the Old Northeast area is close to both parts of town, historic downtown and 4th Street. It has a grassy lot on the right. Another historic home sits on the left just past the driveway. It is a short walk to businesses and restaurants yet still very private. The historic Vinoy Hotel, the waterfront parks, Sundial, restaurants and movies are also nearby. New HVAC unit installed this year Hardwood floors and tile Dishwasher Refrigerator Two wine coolers Stove and oven Disposal Pantry Washer/dryer Walk-in closets Ceiling fan Wooden 6-foot high fence in back Smoke-free Storage space Private court yard with fountain Pet friendly Driveway, garage and street parking Water and sewer fees are included Other utilities (electric, wi-fi) in tenants name and paid by tenants

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
