About This Home
2-story, fully furnished house within walking distance to downtown businesses and Holiday Park. The neighborhood is quiet and borders the historical district. Parking lot next door and street parking provide plenty of space for your vehicles and is never full. Lawn is a low-water, low-maintenance wildflower meadow with plenty of trees for shade and fully fenced in the back for doggo. Dog door is already installed. Utilities: Nearly unlimited solar power, and you can monitor your use on the controller. We usually only draw from the grid for a couple months in the winter when running the space heaters (included) so we don't have to use the furnace. 2 window A/C units are also included. Free heat from a wood stove in the winter if you collect and chop enough wood. You can use our splitters, axes, and chain saws for that. I'm leaving the wifi router so you can get internet in your name but quitting my Spectrum plan because its pretty expensive. You'll get a better deal as a new customer anyway. The water, trash, sewer, gas, and electric will stay in my name but I'll send you the bills to pay each month with rent. We have managed to keep our costs under $150 most months since we got the solar system. and wood stove. Facilities and furniture: This house is very old, but updated with new mechanicals and appliances. The hardwood floor is in decent shape and able to handle pets so you don't have to worry about damaging it. I've also insulated the crawlspace so it retains heat fairly well, especially if you use the wood stove. Front and back enclosed porches help as well and provide plenty of space for sporting equipment, gear, or whatever you need easy access to. The main bedroom is on the first floor as well as an office and a large living/dining room. There are chairs, dining table, roller desk, queen bed, dresser, and a large couch included. Private back yard with a patio for BBQ or sun-bathing and includes a table, chairs, and old weber grill with some grilling implements. Bathroom was renovated recently with a luxurious travertine floor, Italian porcelain, and Indian slate tilework, plus an extra deep, extra wide bathtub. The kitchen floor was just renovated with a Tetris-themed tile floor and enough space for the washer/dryer combo and dishwasher. There will be plenty of cookware and dishes included. Garage in back is not included as I am still storing a lot of stuff in there, but if you need access to it for projects or wood splitting or whatever we can accommodate. Basement is unfinished but you can walk down there and there is plenty of space for storage. Stairs to the upstairs are a bit treacherous, but the stairs have grip tape and there is a railing. The bathroom upstairs has a large closet area that is big enough to use as an office. There are a couple of other odds and ends included in the way of furniture and art on the walls. Whatever you don't want to use we'll throw in the garage. We're hoping for a 12 month lease but will consider shorter leases.

Wyoming’s capital and most populous city, Cheyenne sits in the southeast corner of the state near the Wyoming-Colorado border. About 100 miles north of Denver, Cheyenne is the modern embodiment of the Old West spirit, with a slew of Western-themed attractions, steam engines, ranches, and museums populating the city.
Most indicative of its Old West spirit is the annual Cheyenne Frontier Days, a popular ten-day summer event full of rodeos, parades, and country music concerts and dances. Cheyenne is also home to a number of historical museums such as Wyoming State Museum, Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum, Cheyenne Depot Museum, Nelson Museum of the West, and Cowgirls of the West Museum. Eight-foot tall cowboy boots are scattered throughout the city, each painted by a local artist and revealing a piece of Cheyenne’s and Wyoming’s history.
