No fencing on property, so pets must be leashed at all times. Enchanted Rock, a geological marvel located in central Texas just minutes away from Rockview Cabin 2, captivates visitors with its sheer size and mystical ambiance. This massive pink granite dome offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Hill Country landscape. The neighborhood offers a serene and picturesque setting nestled within the beautiful Texas Hill Country, characterized by rolling hills, lush greenery, and expansive skies. Additionally, the neighborhood is just a short drive away from the vibrant downtown area of Fredericksburg, known for its quaint shops, delicious eateries, and cultural attractions. No smoking is allowed on the premises inside or outside. Parties are not allowed. Guests must stay within the yard boundaries of their dwelling due to hunters, other properties, snakes, and rough terrain. There is a fire pit and BBQ grill on site for guest use. Please bring your own supplies, extinguish any flames or coals after each use, and adhere to any county burn ban in effect. Fireworks and lighting candles inside the property are not allowed. Additional fees may be incurred if personal items are left behind. If any furniture is moved, please place it back in the original space where it was found. Use of firearms and weaponry onsite is prohibited. Failure to return any keys used to the lockbox will result in a $50 replacement fee per key. This is a dark sky community, so please shut off any lights when they are not in use. The thermostat should not be set above 76 (heating) or below 68 (cooling). Please adjust the thermostat by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. This property is on well water, and with the extreme heat and current drought, the water pressure is low. Please be mindful of your water use and shower one at a time. This rural property may have limited services compared to urban settings, including cell phone and delivery services. Texas is known for its bug inhabitants, but we take proactive measures to manage this. Please keep all windows and doors closed and feel free to use the bug spray underneath the sink.
