Calexico is a small city in the Southern California desert, located directly across the border from Mexicali, Mexico. The city’s location right on the border imbues the community with a heavy dose of Mexican culture, and also makes it a thriving international business hub. Most of the business activity in Calexico is clustered along Imperial Boulevard, especially near the border crossing; this is where you’ll find most of the shopping, dining, arts, and entertainment options in town.
