Property Ratings at 300 W Fayette Apartments
I’ve had a great experience living at 300 W Fayette St Apartments! The building is well-maintained, the amenities are convenient, and the location is perfect for anyone who wants to be in the heart of downtown Baltimore. What really sets this place apart is the management team. They are incredibly responsive and always willing to help with any concerns or maintenance requests. Any time I’ve had a question or needed assistance, they’ve addressed it quickly and professionally. It’s clear that they truly care about the residents and work hard to ensure a comfortable living experience. If you’re looking for a well-managed apartment with a team that actually listens and takes action, I highly recommend 300 W Fayette St!
The pictures you see are very deceiving. All the lighting in the apartment is yellow light, not white. The place is always dirty. The elevator smells like dog pee. I have been since May 2024, and they have yet to open the trash shute on each floor, so you have to throw your trash out on the first-floor loading dock every time. I sent out multiple complaints on an issue for 3 months, and it has yet to be resolved. The move-in process was so disorganized despite me signing my lease 1.5 month early. This place isn't worth your time. The only thing good about this place is the newer appliances.
FILTHY the apartment hallways, elevators and loading docks. I have taken pictures that I am unable to upload. I have seen trash, boxes, spills and stains for weeks before they are cleaned.
As someone who moved into their new building at 300 W Fayette, I want to tell you that all the comments regarding unprofessionalism is 100 percent true. Before you move in, see if you can speak to anyone who lives here already. Ask them if they think the property management team is professional and responsive. With all the WIFI issues, they don’t offer an alternative so you get what you pay for. The apartments doesn’t have amenities and if you need basic maintenance, 9 out of 10 you will have to pay for your own repairs. The lease is very clear that the maintenance only assists with certain thing and if your toilet is malfunctioning or sink is clogged, you have to pay to have it repaired. You are better off paying an extra $200-$300 a month for full service, amenities, and 100% maintenance coverage at any other apartment in downtown Baltimore.
As my first apartment, I love it here! My 2 bedroom apartment is spacious and leaves room for creativity. Aj who gave me a tour was very helpful in answering all the questions I had. He was honest and funny as well! You can tell they care!!
Moved in about a month ago. Eva was excellent to deal with. My rent covers water and high speed internet which is awesome and keeps my costs down. Only thing I have to pay for is electric. There is a parking garage attached and the monthly cost for parking is lower than any others in the area. Great location, I can walk to so much like the baseball and football games. The apartments are brand new so it is very clean and secure. Can't recommend enough!
During our tour, we selected an apartment and applied immediately. However, we were later informed that the unit on the lease differed from the one we applied for. Despite assurances of a similar layout, red flags emerged. The promised WiFi wasn't set up, and communication was poor, with no welcome letter or timely responses. On move-in day, there was no parking pass, and access issues persisted. The apartment was dirty, with maintenance issues. Even the "free" internet required manual setup. This experience was unprofessional and unacceptable. I urge others to ask questions and avoid similar situations. The property management needs to improve communication, cleanliness, and overall service quality.
