Learn more about La Vita
Nestled beside the North San Diego Bay, Little Italy is a small neighborhood in Downtown San Diego that is true to its name. The area is filled with local restaurants and shops influenced by Italian culture or history. Previously home to families who made their living on the sea from the tuna industry, Little Italy is now a dynamic neighborhood filled with craft breweries, wineries, art galleries, boutique shops, alfresco cafes, urban parks, and award-winning restaurants.
Little Italy is a food-lovers paradise. A popular local spot since 1933, Waterfront Bar & Grill provides a casual dining experience to Little Italy residents and visitors. For an upscale Italian eatery, visit Buon Apetito. Try out nationally acclaimed eats featured in publications and on television at Extraordinary Desserts or Juniper and Ivy, a modern American fare in an artsy, wooded environment.

About the Listing Agent
Claudette Cooper
RE/MAX City Real Estate
In November, 2017, Claudette Cooper purchased a RE/MAX franchise and converted her then established downtown boutique brokerage, Buy Sell Rent San Diego, to what is known today as RE/MAX City Real Estate.
This acquisition was made to acquire access to the largest global real estate network and deliver best of breed technology and services to clients as well as provide resources and tools that attract the best agents in the industry. RE/MAX agents average more transactions worldwide than any other franchise.
Claudette began her real estate career in 2004. Real Estate is her 2nd career and destiny. Her first career was with IBM where she gained tremendous knowledge in the field of sales, marketing and management for 16 years. Having always possessed an entrepreneurial spirit, Claudette made her first Real Estate ‘fix and flip’ investment in 2002, she realized Real Estate was her passion and left the corporate world and acquired her real estate license.
After moving to San Diego in December of 2004 and starting in the resale business of residential real estate, she experienced the worst of times during the crash in 2006 through 2009. Through surviving this period and the market turnaround, she acquired significant experience and expertise and evolved to build a successful full service real estate business servicing Investors, Sellers, First Time Home Buyers as well as Clients in need of Full Service Property Management.
In January of 2011, she incorporated Buy Sell Rent San Diego, a boutique real estate firm that focused on transactional business with buyers and sellers as well as full service property management for real estate investors.
Today, the transactional business is managed under the DBA of RE/MAX City Real Estate and the property management is now operated under the DBA of San Diego City Property Management.
Both RE/MAX and SD City Property Management teams are consistently focused on increasing efficiencies to capitalize their client’s experience. All members pride themselves in being proactive, innovative and responsive.
