Deming is a small city is southwestern New Mexico, located about halfway between Las Cruces and the Arizona state line on Interstate 10. Established as a railroad town in the late 19th century, the community boasts a rich history that is visible in the many antique buildings that are still in active use around the city. The Downtown district along Pine Street is packed with great locally-owned cafes and specialty shops, serving as a major hangout for locals.

The surrounding desert offers great opportunities to get outdoors and explore the region’s rugged natural beauty, with City of Rocks State Park just a few minutes outside of town. Deming is also home to the popular Great American Duck Race, a quirky annual festival that attracts big crowds from all across the region.
