Vibrant and historic Downtown Syracuse is much more than the city's hub. The cobblestone streets, wide sidewalks, and stately brick buildings create a fantastic shopping and dining district, while the neighborhood's proximity to Syracuse University adds a student dynamic. At the heart of Downtown Syracuse, Armory Square -- a large collection of historic warehouses and the armory that's now a museum -- is the city's nightlife hotspot. The Armory contains a large concentration of restaurants and bars as well as several unique shops.
Some of Downtown Syracuse's most beloved landmarks include the Clinton Square Ice Rink, the Museum of Science and Technology, and the historic Landmark Theatre. The ornate theater, decorated in rich red and gold, first opened in 1928. Another landmark, the McCarthy Building, was built in 1894 and is the oldest building in Syracuse.

Property Ratings at 300 E Washington
Everything about this place is great, besides the management. The building is beautiful, feels safe (usually has security guard onsite), has tons to do (gym, pool, hot tub, basketball court, sauna, and more), and has onsite parking downtown both inside and outside. It is near impossible to get in contact with the property management company, takes several emails and reach outs to hear back which is very frustrating especially since this is an expensive place to live. Overall, very happy with my experience, would be perfect if you could hear back from anyone here.
The building is in an ideal location walking distance from numerous great restaurants, shops and bars. The building itself has wonderful amenities, including a gym, wet and dry sauna’s, indoor pool, basketball, courts, vending machines and shared communal spaces. Each floor has a quiet space for work or study. I also love the Luxer package lockers, which makes it convenient and safe for receiving packages when you’re not home. I have made many friends in the building and I am excited to continue my lease at 300 Washington. Many thanks to the management staff for making this a comfortable and safe community.
