Edgewater is exactly where you'd expect to find it -- on the water. The large CDP is surrounded on three sides by the South River and its bays and creeks. It is a suburb of Annapolis, located across the river roughly four miles from Downtown Annapolis. Like most towns on the Chesapeake Bay, life in Edgewater is all about the water -- from boating and sailing to swimming and fishing.
In addition to spending time at Woodland Beach or the Londontowne Marina, Edgewater residents can visit Historic London Town and Gardens, a colonial town founded in 1683.
