Five Points East lies about 2.5 miles northeast of Downtown El Paso, the Rio Grande River, and the Mexico border. I-10 and Highway 54 make up the southern and eastern borders, respectively, and allow for faster commutes to downtown and various sectors of the city.
Known as El Paso’s “boot hill,” Concordia Cemetery is a Texas historical site that anchors the southeast corner of the neighborhood. On the west side, you’ll find L&J Café, which locals have long referred to as the “old place by the graveyard.” Authentic Mexican cuisine like chicken enchiladas with guacamole is the reason this establishment has been a fixture in El Paso since 1927.
