750 sq. ft. loft with covered terrace 7 blocks from Main & Market. Loft is built out in an old factory circa 1880. The contrast between the old factory and the modern apartment is wonderful. The apartment features 11 large new windows (8ft. tall) for plenty of light. As the loft is on the second floor and the building is surrounded by trees everything is private and no curtains are necessary. The apartment features stainless steel and glass kitchen cabinets appliances include refrigerator, stove dishwasher, disposal and over the stove microwave. There is a gas fireplace and original factory floors finished in EPOXY for a "wet look". The ceiling is metal and the baseboards are shinny diamond plate to recognize the industrial nature of the building. The bathroom features a just built 3 x 4.5 ft tile shower with a portal overlooking the valley and with an outrageous stainless steel shower tower that has both a waterfall or rain shower head with horizontal massage jets. (see photos) Brand new washer/dryer installed in unit. There is a sleeping loft with disappearing stairs and a closet with movable clothes racks. You truly won't find another place as unique as this. The terrace is 100 sq. ft. with slate walls and an overhead fan, a great summer hide-out overlooking the valley and the trees. Plenty of birds! The rent includes gas, water, trash, free laundry, electric, and high speed internet and Streaming TV. You also have access to a game room with ping pong, pool, and shuffle-board. The rent also includes a heated storage space. In the rear of the building the large open yard is surrounded by knotweed, a flowering Japanese ornamental plant. It also has a fire ring where tenants often gather for a beer and some camaraderie. The other tenants have formed a little community here and are very supportive of one another. The backyard is surrounded all summer with Japanese Knotweed which provides a very private and natural park like setting.
