Welcome to our charming Cape Cod-style house in a desirable location with all that Durham has to offer. The property is situated near major highways, providing easy access to medical facilities and workplaces such as Duke Hospital (7min), Duke University (8min), and downtown Durham (10min). Renovated in 2016: Kitchen with white cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. Primary & secondary bedrooms on the first floor have a shared walkthrough bathroom and also a separate full bathroom on the main floor. The upstairs has over 600 sq ft of additional other space: could be a fitness area, work-from-home office, guest room, or flex space. Our favorite part of this house is the spacious .43 acres fully private fenced-in backyard with beautiful hardwood trees. There is also a large white picnic table and shed for storage. The house will be unfurnished, pictures were taken prior to moving. There is laundry hook up available. One month's rent deposit. Dog friendly with a $250 non-refundable deposit. The tenant will pay for utilities, internet, and lawn maintenance.

Hillandale begins on the north side of Duke University and includes the Watts Hospital-Hillandale Historic District. This charming area dates back to 1908 and consists of arts and crafts style homes built in the early 1900s. The neighborhood follows Hillandale Road north to Horton Road. The Crossdaile Country Club is on the west side of the neighborhood. Hillandale is a wooded neighborhood filled with parks, hiking trails, and cozy streets lined with charming homes. Its small-town, rural feel belies its proximity to Downtown Durham, just minutes southeast.
Being so close to Duke University, residents have fast access to Duke University Hospital, Sarah P. Duke Gardens, Duke Forest, and the Nasher Museum of Art. On the south end of the neighborhood, the Shops at Erwin Mill is filled with popular shops, restaurants, cafes, and a Whole Foods Market.
