The Space Enter through the back of the house into a quaint enclosed screened in porch There is ample space for coats and shoes and it\'s also a great place to relax or read a book on a rainy day. The kitchen and dining area are at the back of the house. A large, picturesque farm sink overlooks the fields. Spacious countertop and an island for food preparation make it easy for groups preparing meals together. A custom made dining table brings the space together. Cozy for a farm style breakfast or an evening of after dinner games. The intimate living room has a sliding door that leads to a side porch. In the warmer months, spend time on the deck which features a BBQ and patio set. The living room has a wood burning stove, record player and comfortable seating, it\'s the ultimate place to kick back after a long day exploring the outdoors. A bedroom on the first floor features a queen bed and en suite with shower. Vintage wallpaper discovered during the renovation provides a gorgeous backdrop to the bed. On the second floor there are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Sloped cathedral ceilings and a skylight in each rooms make the even more spacious. See the stars at night, right from the bed, or gently wake up to the morning light streaming in. Light sleeper? The skylights have remote control blinds to ensure a full night sleep. A charming bathroom upstairs has a tub/shower combo. In the summer luxuriate in the bath before going to bed with a bouquet of field flowers next to the tub. Winter time add some locally sourced bathing salts from a nearby market and soothe your muscles after a day of playing in the snow. Outdoors, explore the 85 acres of field and forest! A small stream runs in front of the house. Dip your toes on a hot summer day. Tiny fish dart around the rocks and if you\'re stealthy, gently pick up a rock and you may see a little freshwater crayfish. The property also has around 3 miles of maintained trails. A patch on wildflowers along the trail is a summertime treat, the optimal place for a picnic and a gorgeous spot for pictures. Drop by the farm stand for eggs/chicken/produce, they also do tours from time to time. There is no or limited Uber or transportation services in the area. In the winter months when snow is likely (October through April) AWD or 4WD is recommended along with all weather or snow tires with good tread. - The home does not have a TV. - The washer and dryer are in the basement and are not available to guests staying less than a week. - AC units are installed in the bedroom windows for the warmer months.
