About This Property

Furnished monthly rental! Rare find! This architectural diamond was designed by David Jensen. It is surrounded by a serene lush forest with the deeded-access beach trail just a short stroll away. After your trip along the beach, wash the sand off your toes in the outdoor shower, then enjoy dinner in the unique south-facing solarium. A passive solar design and a Russian fireplace provide year-round comfort. The large kitchen, open-plan living space, and grand deck make for easy entertaining. Nestled upstairs, you'll find the primary suite with a striking window looking over the treetops to watch spectacular sunsets and raging winter storms. The en-suite bathroom has a soaking tub and a walk-in closet. There’s a 2nd primary bedroom with a washer and dryer, as well as an upscale bathroom. Downstairs you can open the glass garage door to invite in the sea breezes and sounds of the beach. Enjoy the fresh air stroll to nearby shops, boutiques, restaurants, and nearby taverns. With over 26 miles of Long Beach Peninsula, there is a lot to explore. In Ocean Park, there are bookstores, restaurants and gift stores, and more beaches to explore. Stop into Jack’s Country Store to see the historic yet current meeting place. In Nahcotta, you can buy fresh oysters and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. At the northern tip of the Peninsula is Ledbetter Point State Park -- it’s a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or to the bay. Downtown Long Beach is a hub of activity year-round, especially during the summer months, with the International Kite Festival, Rod Run, and fireworks on Independence Day and New Year’s Eve. There are great shops, various restaurants, and lots of things for the kids to do, including miniature golf, the arcade, and go-cart rides. Ilwaco, Cape Disappointment, and the North Head lighthouse are south of Long Beach. There are art galleries at the Port of Ilwaco, and during the summer months, there’s Saturday Market, too, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers, and plants for sale. You can even see pirates at times. The Port also features some fine restaurants with local seafood offerings created by our great chefs. You can also consider taking a charter fishing trip for salmon, halibut, tuna, or sturgeon.
