About 263 E 240th St Bronx, NY 10470

Cozy room available in Woodlawn. 10 minute walk to metro north, 5minute bus ride to 2,4, and 5 trains. 30 minutes into manhattan. House is in great location- close to Manhattan and two blocks away from Westchester County (Yonkers). There are tons of grocery stores, restaurants, salons and bars within walking distance. Access to beautiful new kitchen, bathroom, and common area. Tons of space. Share apt. with two women mid-late 20's. share bathroom with 1 other roomate. We would describe ourselves as social but also quiet and respectful of other roomates' space. Noise levels are usually low here, and we would want to keep it that way :) Great for students, or a commuter who wants to save some money. Can't beat this deal! Reply with some info. about yourself. (Facebook, Linkedin would be great if you can!) - Please only serious inquiries at this time. Looking for female in 20s at this time! No credit check! Room available July 1st, 2018 1st months rent plus 1 month rent to move in: $1300 Thank you, and I look forward to hearing back! -Victoria

Neighborhood - Woodlawn Heights

At the northern tip of the Bronx, the Woodlawn Heights neighborhood disrupts a square of green space occupied by Van Cortlandt Park and the historic Woodlawn Cemetery. One of New York’s most famous residential areas, this neighborhood provides easy access to the city and surrounding areas by bus and subway.

Woodlawn Heights features a somewhat boot-like shape, with 233rd street forming the sole on the southern edge, the Bronx River the back, Van Cortlandt Park E the laces and McLean Ave the opening on top. Katonah Ave. runs north-south through the center of the neighborhood, serving as Woodlawn Heights’ major thoroughfare though you shouldn't forget that McLean Ave., which forms the border with Yonkers, bustles in its own right.
