Instead of paying a full security deposit, approved tenants can choose to pay a non-refundable fee equal to 5% of one month’s rent. This keeps more money in your pocket at move-in. The Security Deposit Alternative does not cover damages — tenants remain fully responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
