This apartment feels like a private home in a garden setting. It is the end unit in a one story 4 unit building. There are many special touches such as the gas log fireplace in the living room; hardwood floor in living room, gas stove, old fashion claw foot bath tub etc. In addition, there is a carriage house which is separate from the apartment and is great for storage or a workshop. In addition, there is room to garden along side the wood deck and a private area to barbecue on the brick patio area. The living room/dining room have two large panels of glass which look onto your private garden area. It is only 2 blocks from University Avenue (downtown) at 239 Kipling Street and is directly across the street from a gorgeous full city block park The good news is that it is a great location and a beautiful unit; the bad news is that there is no dishwasher and no on-site laundry but various pick up and delivery services, such as Laundress (check out Laundress.com and see how easy it can be) are available. Parking is street parking which is easy with your city parking permit. Rent is $3,495 + utilities which are about $250. Cats are fine and I will consider dogs.
