East Terrace is a quaint neighborhood in the suburban city of Mountlake Terrace, 13 miles north of Seattle and just minutes from the coast. Interstate 5, running towards the middle of town, makes traveling in and out of Mountlake Terrace easy. Within East Terrace, renters will find that the rental market consists of apartments in relatively affordable price ranges.
Lyon Creek, and the parks and trails surrounding the stream, are located on the northeastern border of the neighborhood and provide many opportunities for outdoor fun close to home. There are a couple of restaurants located in East Terrace, but most of the dining and shopping opportunities can be found right outside the neighborhood on 220th Street Southwest. Outside of the city’s eastern limits are many shopping plazas, restaurants, and a hospital gathered along the Pacific Highway.
