Nearby BEAUTIFUL PARK; Rails to Trails, Davenport University, Amazon Warehouse, Ford Airport. Country Town Feel. We are a 4 unit house--NOT a big complex with tons of people. You will know the friendly owners! This beautiful apartment is in a "farm-house" comfortable building which is a former schoolhouse built in 1889. It has 4 apartments of various sizes. It is situated in a mostly single-family residential district in the Village of Caledonia on a street which dead ends into the stunning Caledonia Lakeside County Park. The apartment building is within a stone's throw of beautiful Emmons Lake, a wild, stream-fed fishing lake on which you can Kayak, rowboat or ice fish; and a very short walk to the gorgeous, very well-equipped County Park with multiple playgrounds, ball diamonds, lake frontage and access to the wonderful multiple-miles-long Paul Henry trail system. The sparkling clean apartment is a beautiful mix of new and old, on the 1st floor. It is all freshly painted and has new variegated gray luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout, except for the bedrooms, which have new silver-gray carpets . The bathroom is clean, bright and cheerful with new tub surround and vanity with a black modern curved faucet. The living room looks out into beautiful leafy trees, which are especially gorgeous in the fall! It is not your typical cookie-cutter apartment building! It is unique and beautiful. We are taking calls, texts or emails to set up appointments, immediately, Monday through Saturday (we are not open on Sunday). There is coin laundry in the building. Spectrum Cable TV and Hi speed internet are available. REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY: Good credit required with no outstanding collections or bankruptcies, no rental/owner tenant issues and no criminal convictions. At least $2800 per month income between all occupants. Sorry, no pets Maximum 4 people No smoking of any kind inside $29.95 application fee online (see explanation, below) DETAILS: The rent is $1250 plus $75 heat fee. The electric will be in your own name. Rent includes water, sewer, garbage service and plowing. We do not have central air but you can have air conditioners in the side windows. MORE DETAILS: The apartment has approximately 800 square feet with brand new variegated luxury vinyl floors throughout, new carpets in the 2 bedrooms, a large living room with a large set of triple windows plus more windows, and a large kitchen with a set of double windows, new stainless steel appliances including a large microwave, new countertop and backsplash, and lighting. There are closets or cupboards in every room. The bathroom has a linen closet. This apartment is on the main floor with only a few inches tall step up to the sidewalk entry. There is ample private parking. The apartment house is located on the edge of town in the Village of Caledonia with a half-country and half-town feel. There are multiple trees surrounding the area. There is no garage. Off-road parking is free. There are no other complexes on our street. Walk, bike or golf-cart (yes, it is legal in Caledonia to use golf-carts) to the grocery store and restaurants. Uccello's and Brann's are a short drive. The ice cream and food restaurant is a short 1.5 blocks walk. There are multiple restaurants and quick-stops in Caledonia! APPLICATION ~There is an application fee of $29.95, which you pay for and fill out online. Ask us for instructions. You get the report back at which point you can choose whether or not to share it with us. ~Credit, background check, eviction and criminal reports are required. ~Adults must have good credit (you don't have to have a lot of credit but must have no bad credit) with no bankruptcies, evictions or unpaid collections, and at least $2800 combined monthly income or be able to show ability to pay. ~Maximum of 4 people. ~FIRST MONTH'S RENT OF $1250 plus $75 heat fee is due at lease signing. ~DAMAGE DEPOSIT is $300. ~CLEANING FEE is $200 which means you do not have to do house cleaning when you move out. For trail info: Westmichigantrails, PaulHenryThornappleTrail FROM THE APARTMENT BUILDING: • DAVENPORT UNIVERSITY is about 5-6 miles. • GERALD R FORD AIRPORT 8 miles. • M-6 is about 3 miles. • I-96 is about 7 miles. • US 131 is about 8 miles. • The East Beltline, also called Broadmoor / M-37 / Cherry Valley St., is less than 1 mile. • 28th Street and Woodland Mall area is 10 miles. DIRECTIONS: Take M-37 to Caledonia which is just 3 miles south of M-6. Turn west at the traffic light on Main Street (it only goes west). Go 3 blocks to the stop sign, then turn right on Lake Street. Go two blocks to the bottom of the hill and find the three-story cream-color building with the plum-color door on the right at 232 N Lake ST SE, Caledonia, MI.
