Each apartment has a private patio where gas grills, outdoor decorations, and potted plants are encouraged to have quiet enjoyment or a gathering of friends. We have 24 hour maintenance, a secure building with no steps to climb, and on-site laundry. Residents have a variety of uplifting and engaging activities to tempt the interest of many personalities. We have a community room that is utliized most everyday for monthly potluck dinners, birthday parties, resident meetings, game night,and bingo night! The local Transit Authority has senior bus service for shopping, doctor's appointments, and general traveling with the special needs of seniors in mind. Our local Council on Aging and Center Center has a staff that can help witn income tax preparation, medicare questions, and Social Security questions. Local landmarks include the Wing House Museum, a historical museum contained in a house built in 1875; the Tibbits Opera House, the second-oldest theater in Michigan dating to 1882; and the Little River Railroad, a steam locomotive from 1911.

Coldwater's Rotary Park offers lake views, a fishing dock, and a picnic area. Coldwater Little League Park includes the Heritage Park Splash Pad, picnic pavilions, and a skateboard park.
