Hello (potential) neighbor! This completely renovated 1950s style 2-bed/1-bath apartment is part of a fourplex and is conveniently located in the center of town and one block from Historic US 66! In five minutes, you can be on the freeway or Uptown ABQ and in ten you can be Downtown. I have recently updated the entire apartment from furniture (antique and mid-century) to appliances and everything in-between. You wont have to worry about noise or safety. The complex is quiet and gated (with a code), and management is available 24 hours a day. W/D on premises and off-street parking. I am the building owner and have lived here for 12 years. The other tenants have been here long-term and together we have established a tight-knit (and 420-friendly) community: We really look out for one another. My and two other friendly dogs live here, and you are welcome to shower love on them all you want. They will welcome you with wags and kisses! Our complex is located in one of ABQs neighborhoods-in-transition, with an array of homes in various stages of repair. In the spirit of full transparency, you will see differences from block to block, with ours being one of the most updated. The City of ABQ is committed to revitalizing Central Avenue (Old Route 66) from Downtown eastward toward the mountain by planting trees and installing medians, and a new library has been built a block away. Nearly all the residents in the two-block radius where our unit is located have made their home here for a long time. There are on occasion shelter-insecure people passing through, but they are not aggressive. One reason we like this neighborhood is its diversity: We are home to people occupying various economic strata and who represent a variety of races, ethnicities, and gender expressions. All are welcome here. We are committed to making your stay with us pleasant and comfortable!
