Canyon Lake is a small town located about an hour south of San Bernardino. Originally a private subdivision community, Canyon Lake is one of only five gated cities in California, allowing for an extremely safe, close-knit environment. With the lake—(which is over 400 acres) —anchoring the town, this private community is focused on having a great time out on the water. You’ll see residents swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, wakeboarding, and more almost every day of the year. Canyon Lake has three small retail centers with the largest hub located along Railroad Canyon Road.
