The resort town of Lake Geneva wraps around Geneva Lake and provides a public beach, a cruise line, and lakefront parks. Several still stand, including Black Point. One of the city's oldest mansions, Black Point dates back to 1887 and is open for tours. Lake Geneva is roughly an hour northwest of Chicago and about an hour southwest of Milwaukee.
