About This Home
This luxury condo is located on the Pedestrian Mall in downtown Iowa City—one of the most sought-after locations in the city. It’s an ideal spot whether you’re local or just passing through, offering both convenience and style. Being in the heart of downtown, you’re within walking distance of everything Iowa City has to offer: the University of Iowa campus, the public library (just across the street), and all the restaurants, cafés, and bars along the Ped Mall—so you’re always in the middle of festivals, events, and live shows. You’re also just steps away from FilmScene, Riverside Theatre, and The Englert Theatre, as well as yoga studios, gyms, and a variety of local shops. The building itself includes a gym, yoga studio, and wellness clinic, and there’s a nearby grocery market that can easily function as your everyday pantry, with fresh and prepared foods buffet. The condo is on the 12th floor, offering one of the highest viewpoints in the city. The southeast-facing balcony brings in great natural light—especially in the winter—and spans the length of the condo, providing plenty of space for relaxation, container gardening, or plants. The building is secure with a front desk/reception to assist with deliveries, guide guests, and support you. Access to the condo, elevator, and garage is keycard-controlled for added security and convenience. There is also a temperature-controlled underground parking garage ($100/month for a reserved spot), which is highly coveted downtown. From the garage, you can take the elevator directly to the gym, Bread Garden (market, grocery, and restaurant), Formosa, and Heartland Yoga—no need to go outside, which is especially convenient in bad weather. Inside, the condo features a modern layout with custom storage, including two walk-in closets. The bathroom includes both a walk-in shower and a large bathtub. The kitchen is equipped with a custom island (great for cooking or entertaining), stainless steel appliances, a wine fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. The owner covers association fees (including trash and reception services). The tenant is covers utilities. Internet and gym access are available for the building at a reduced rate of $30/month through Plaza Towers management. Pets are allowed with a deposit. Notes: A one-year lease (aligned with the academic year) is preferred. Serious inquiries only.

The sprawling University of Iowa spills across the Iowa River and into Downtown Iowa City: the Main Library, the Engineering Library, the English-Philosophy Building, the College of Education, and the University of Iowa Museum of Natural History are all in the Downtown neighborhood. As a result, Downtown Iowa City is filled with students in backpacks walking to class. This is most definitely Hawkeye country, and the neighborhood is covered in black and gold. During college football season, you'll find many residents heading across the river to Kinnick Stadium to cheer on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
With its wide sidewalks, outdoor cafes, and numerous bicycles parked in bike racks, Downtown Iowa City is a great place to live, often topping "best" lists for livability and as one of the nation's best college towns. Shops and restaurants fill the historic architecture, and cobblestone streets add an old-world elegance to the district.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
