By 2017 a new challenge was calling. He founded Stratton Real Estate in Johannesburg. The business quickly grew into a successful boutique brokerage, which delivered a more personal “white-glove” experience. In 2019, Richard immigrated to Houston Texas, and instantly fell in love with the city and its people. They say, “you might not have been born in Texas, but you got here as quick as you could.” For Richard, this is true. He is always very excited to show new comers to Houston why this is the best place for them and their family.

When Richard is not shaking up the Houston residential property market, he is spending his time with is beautiful wife Roxanne. Richard’s guilty pleasure is Tex-Mex, Texas BBQ and desserts. So if you like good food, just ask Richard where the best restaurants are. Richard is a big sport fans. Growing up just outside of Newcastle, England, he is a huge Newcastle United fan, and he is also a big Rugby fan and not to mention an enthusiastic Texans fan. Richard always welcomes a little friendly banter from opposing sports fans.
