About 210 Edward St Durham, NC 27701
Location-Location-Location. In the heart of Old North Durham's dynamic in-town location walkable all of downtown Durham's amenities. Unlike a busy apartment community where nobody knows your name, this home is on a quiet street with neighbors that know and watch out for one another. This is not an apartment complex but a charming, well designed, historic building with private individual living spaces. This 1935 house was split into 4 apartments many, many years ago. The spacious one and two bedroom apartment homes feature renovated kitchens, upgraded baths, and large closets. You will have your own private outdoor space for relaxing whether it be a deck, porch, or landing to your apartment. Each apartment has its own individually controlled Central Heating & Air unit, and tenants pay for electricity and their own optional cable/internet services. Cost of water, sewage, and trash / recycling services are included. There is an on-site shared laundry room provided for all tenants' usage. These updated apartments are located in the Old North Durham neighborhood and are walking distance to Cocoa Cinnamon, Motorco Music Hall, Fullsteam Brewery, Geer Street Garden, Urban Axes, Boxyard Arcade, the Durham Farmer's Market, American Tobacco campus, and all of the popular establishments in downtown Durham shown in the listing photos. The location is also convenient to Duke's East Campus (about 1.25 miles bike ride) as well as NCCU & Durham Tech (approx 1 mile). Many of our neighbors walk or bike to school/work on a daily basis. In addition you'll have the convenience of a city bus stop at the end of the block. The private owners are local Durham residents not some out-of-state property management company. So it is important to us to keep this building as a place where all of the residents have a great mix of privacy and shared respect for their common spaces.
This cozy and compact one bedroom apartment home features a full kitchen, bath, and large closet. You will have shared usage of the back yard with a private somewhat covered sitting area outside of your front door. All utilities included. Tenant pays only for internet.
210 Edward St is an apartment community located in Durham County and the 27701 ZIP Code. This area is served by the Durham Public School District attendance zone.

Known as both Bull City and the City of Medicine, Durham is known for its college-town vibe, array of tech companies, and thriving arts scene. Former textile and tobacco mills have given way to art galleries, unique restaurants, co-working spaces, and spacious lofts. Durham is the proud home to Duke University, a cutting-edge research institution dressed in Gothic architecture.
Entrepreneurship defines the culture in Durham, from tech startups to eclectic food trucks turned restaurants, and everything in between. From the handcrafted goods at the Mothership to the national retailers at the Streets of Southpoint, Durham has an abundance of shopping options. You’ll find locals enjoying the Durham Farmers Market and Food Truck Rodeo at Central Park, visiting the Duke Lemur Center (the largest in the world), kayaking at Eno River State Park, and exploring the interactive exhibits at the Museum of Life and Science.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
