Tastefully decorated and fully equipped for short or long stays, this home offers a king bed in the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, a queen bed in the second bedroom, and two twin beds in the third bedroom. A guest bathroom with a tub/shower combo is also available. Pets are welcome with a fee of $100 per stay for one dog under 50 lbs. The dog must be up to date on vaccinations, have flea treatment, and be potty trained. Guests are responsible for any damages caused by the pet during their stay. Additional charges will apply if dog feces is not picked up and properly disposed of ($50 per pile). The Peaceful Puffin is located in the West King district, full of history and charm. Downtown St. Augustine is only a short 3-5 minute drive or quick bike ride away, and Vilano Beach is just a 10-minute drive from the home. St. Augustine is the nation’s most historic city and offers flavorful dining, art, and culture with an abundance of entertainment right on your doorstep. From the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument to the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum, there is something for everyone just minutes from the home. The best way to get around St. Augustine is with your own car or a rental, with free parking space for up to 3 cars included with your stay. Guests can also use rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft or call a taxi. Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am per St. Johns County ordinance and are enforced. The minimum age to book is 21, and the primary guest on the reservation must be present for the duration of the stay. No parties are allowed, and any guests visiting outside of the reservation must be approved by hosts prior to their arrival. Late check-outs and early check-ins are subject to an additional fee of $50 per hour. No vaping or smoking is allowed on the property, including the front porch. If evidence of smoking is found, an additional cleaning fee will be applied. Do not flush anything down the toilet except toilet paper. Parents with younger children use the home at their own risk as it is not child-proofed. Checkout procedures must be completed as written and posted in the house. Any excessive mess will result in additional cleaning fees.
