About This Home
If you find the blend of being in the center of the city, less than 8 minutes to the U of I, five-minute walk to the heart of downtown, and two large city parks yet in a tree-lined neighborhood with a picket-fenced yard then this two-bedroom is your spot. A century and a half ago 208 West Maple Champaign #1 originally was the farmhouse for a small farm at the edge of town. Now it is in the heart of Champaign. It has the charm of its origins including hardwood oak floors with all the updates: central air, 95% + high-efficiency furnace, dishwasher, side by side washer, and dryer. It has its own fenced backyard. We are pet friendly. Each unit has its own fenced backyard. We mow the yard; we provide weekly curbside trash and recycling pickup and there is off-street parking for two vehicles. There are steps up to the entry, it is just under 1,000 square feet total. Tenants pay for the water and power (natural gas and electricity). Our office and your private tenant fitness center is located just two blocks away. To prevent our tenants from being rent burdened we have a strict policy of requiring tenants to have an income of three times the rent. To schedule a tour email us.
