There is a store in downtown Idaho Falls where Melaleuca products are available. The War Bonnet roundup is Idaho's oldest rodeo and runs the first weekend in August in Idaho Falls. The rodeo hosts a unique event called a "Wild horse race" which features several teams of three individuals penning a horse without a bridle, blanket or saddle. The winner is the team that gets a rider on the horse, bareback, and is able to ride a lap around the arena. Eastern Idaho State Fair happens the first week of September in Blackfoot, ID (30 minutes south of Idaho Falls). The eastern Idaho fly tying expo runs the each year the first week of April. If you are here in spring through early fall try a horse back ride, gravel bike (road bike with mountain bike tires) ride, or ATV ride with one of the many outfitters around Island Park. If you are here in the winter give snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, or fat tire mountain biking a try in Island Park or West Yellowstone with an outfitter. Jackson Hole is world renowned for downhill skiing, however, don't miss out on the Grand Targhee resort which has epic powder, value priced beginner packages, and seldom has crowds. I've provided a list of float and fishing trips above which can all be done unguided, however, if you want to fly fish the snake river a guide/outfitter is highly recommended. Airports: Idaho Falls Regional Airport (IDA 17 minutes), Pocatello regional airport(PIH - 60 minutes), Salt Lake City Airport (SLC - 3.5 hours), Provo Municipal airport (PVU - 4 hours)

Ammon may seem like a small town on paper, but the city is quickly becoming a center of forward-thinking. First established in 1888 as an agricultural town, Ammon is now home to multiple industries and continues to grow due to a strong job market, affordable apartments, and a quaint lifestyle.
The city is a very family-oriented area with no shortage of parks. McCowin Park takes up 18 acres alone, and includes a community pool, tennis courts, and walking paths. The outer region of Ammon provides multiple seasonal recreation resources. During the winter, residents can take on the local ski slopes. The summer, however, is dedicated to adventure at Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park. In addition to the entertainment district in Idaho Falls, locals enjoy the neighborhood conveniences like Grand Teton Mall and education opportunities at College of Eastern Idaho.
