**The house is no longer available (7/27).** This unfurnished log home is very convenient to Mars Hill and Marshall, and about 30 minutes north of Asheville. With five bedrooms and two bathrooms, the house was originally built for a family of five and can now become home for your family! Barely three minutes off a main road, it's a quiet setting in the woods, where passing groups of deer and lots of bird life can keep you company on either of two large porches. Limited number of pets permitted, with pet addendum to the lease. This cozy home is locally owned and managed, by a family who's lived in Mars Hill since the 1960s. Tenant pays utilities. Available to rent September 1st (and possibly a bit sooner). Individual showings can be scheduled after the 20th. We only take applications through the listing, which does charge a fee and runs credit, background and eviction checks.
