About This Property

We have a private room available at the end of October in a 3 bedroom 2 bath house on De La Pena in Santa Clara. The room is roughly 13x 15 is clean & recently painted. It is a medium sized room with a small closet. It has 3 large windows and it gets beautiful light. The hallway bath is shared by the two front bedrooms. We have central heat & central AC. We have a washer/dryer in the garage, a bbq & hammock, and new patio space out back. There is a spacious backyard with fruit trees(plums,oranges,lemons,avocados!). The house is located in a quiet and family-friendly neighborhood in Santa Clara, with easy street parking. We are both working professionals.We are looking for another professional/student that doesn't mind a shared community space and keeps a clean house. We have a fully stocked kitchen (thanks mom and dad for your hand-me-downs!) and I like to cook on the weekends to whip up something tasty for me and my family/friends. I also have a six year old energetic yellow lab, so being comfortable around a large, curious friendly dog is a must. We are fully open to if you have a dog and want to consider adding a second dog to our household. He gets along great with big dogs. The room will be available after October 20th so if you are interested in seeing the place (it's much better than in my photos!), message me with a little about yourself and what you are looking for and we can work on getting a showing set up. About us: My roomie and I (both young professionals, 1Female/1Male) are both very tidy, clean kitchen kinda people. We like board games and food! House Details: We can discuss splitting up the house chores once you are all settled in, but we plan on everyone pitching in on something. The utilities (water, sewage, trash, electricity, heat, AC) are all shared equally on top of the rent (roughly 180-220 per month depending on usage). It is a 6 month lease and then it becomes monthly after that. We will require a one months deposit. Bonus points if you are handy, or are willing to help make improvements/repairs to our 84 year old house. Thanks! :)
