If you have to rent, this is the house that you want to be in. This house is beautiful. From the restored hardwood floors, to the tall celings, to the built-in hutch in the kitchen, to the amazing sun room that looks out over the large double lot front yard, this home takes you back to a time when life moved a little bit slower. The detail in this restoration is wonderful. The owners took great pains and gave much attention to detail in all aspects of this home. It is located one block from Coggin park in a great neighborhood, on a highly desirable street in the heart of Brownwood. The backyard is huge and there is a storage building large enough to be used as a shop. There is a 5th room that could be used as a bedroom or an office, or a craft room, or just use it for storage. The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
