Cheery and bright, the unit was just repainted throughout, with new carpet in the bedroom and living areas. The kitchen has a new refrigerator, stove, induction cooktop, and microwave. There’s a stall shower and all new hardware in the bathroom. The main door leads into the living area. There is plenty of storage in built-in cabinets behind a vintage knotty pine accent wall. The kitchen is in the middle of the unit with the bathroom behind. The bedroom is off the kitchen and has a walk-in closet and a small accessory room with a built-in desk. Outside is a lower-level ocean view lanai with two Adirondack chairs. A gas BBQ is available on an upper patio between the two buildings. There is a shared laundry/dryer and one dedicated parking space in the garage next door. This is a great neighborhood with many friendly long-term residents, lots of beach volleyball and surfing just outside your door. Downtown MB with groceries, shops and many great eateries is nearby. Water and trash are included with rent. Electricity, gas, and cable/internet are the renter’s responsibility. Unit is approximately 595 square feet. No pets and no smoking are allowed. Six months minimum lease, then month to month with rent locked in for one year total.

Manhattan Beach is a thriving coastal community just southwest of Los Angeles proper. The Downtown district near the foot of the Manhattan Beach Pier is packed with terrific and unique restaurants, bars, specialty shops, and even a few art galleries. Manhattan Village shopping mall on the northeast side of town provides an even bigger selection of retail options.
In addition to the beach, you can always enjoy to SoCal sunshine by spending time in any of the numerous public parks in town or by walking the Hermosa Valley Greenbelt, which connects many of the area’s most popular attractions. The local education system is superb—Mira Costa High School in particular is regularly ranked among the top schools in the nation. LAX airport is only a few blocks to the north, making Manhattan Beach an ideal location for jet-setters and other frequent travelers.
