Situated on beautiful Esplanade Avenue, just 8 blocks from the French Quarter and twice that distance to City Park, you can walk or bike to the best sights in the city. Our house is located in the famous Treme neighborhood of New Orleans. Well-known for it's important place in the music and cultural traditions of the city, it's not uncommon to encounter a Second Line parade passing by the front of the house on a Sunday afternoon. There are little coffee shops, classic diners, and speakeasies around the neighborhood to discover that are off the beaten path. There is also a bus stop on the corner, where you can take a bus to Canal Street, the Garden District, or City Park. Walk 15 minutes to the Jazz Festival site, or to Armstrong Park for other festival events.
