Basic, well-maintained 1br/1ba with included parking and water. In addition to customary cleaning, we completely replaced the floors, and re-painted/re-caulked the walls ($7,000). People tend to stay here for 5+ years. It's a nice area with well-kept homes and polite neighbors. This is a basic apartment with a basic price tag. It has a stove, parking, and water (all included), but not in-unit washer/dryer or dishwasher. We considered adding these things, but the real thing people seem to want is cheap rent. As of Feb 25th, The Hartford, a local luxury high-rise (2033 Ridge) is charging $1,900/mo. We think this is insane and are trying to preserve what affordable places are left. We allow pets (including dogs) but will typically ask for a larger deposit to offset the increased risk of damage.
