About This Property
Penthouse at Madison Lofts - Floor to ceiling south facing windows with 20 ft ceilings and natural light year round. Full length private balcony with view of downtown. Two large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, gas fireplace, new washer & dryer in unit. Heated garage parking. Timing: Ideal move in is early November 2024 with an 18 month lease through May 31, 2025. However, I am open to conversations on the move in date and length of the lease (minimum of 12 months). Pets: Cats and dogs allowed (up to 2) with owners approval and must adhere to building HOA rules. Pet deposit of 50% of 1 month's rent, fully refundable at move out. Laundry: In-unit front-loading washer and dryer, new machines in 2023. Large and very nice! Parking: 1 parking spot in heated garage with elevator access. Gym: In building gym, it is small but well equipped - treadmill, pilates reformer, free weights, and more. Televisions and speakers. It is rare that there is more than 1 person there at a time. Utilities: Water, trash, recycling, and sewer are included. Renter pays for electricity, gas, and wifi. Internet options: Madison Lofts is set up with Xfinity and Implex ($50/month, no taxes or fees, at least 100Mb up and down, never throttled). Community: The building is quite friendly with an active Home Owners Association. There are planned events and often impromptu gatherings in the front patio or lobby area. If you email the building for a cup of sugar, you will have multiple responses within the hour! For context: I lived here for 4 years and have loved it! For family reasons, I am moving to St Paul and do not plan to move back in, so I am looking for a long term renter(s). Application Process: Please “Request a Tour” if you are interested and I will get back to you within 1 day. If you are interested after the tour and we align on a timeline, then I will ask for an application fee of $40 via electronic transfer (venmo / zelle). The application fee is the final step and it is only to cover the cost of the background check and credit check. I will also ask for a copy of all tenets drivers licenses and income verification (to confirm that monthly income is 3x monthly rent). Credit check is a consideration but I understand that it does not tell the entire picture. I am open to a co-signer, who would also need to go through the application review process.

Boasting an eclectic local culture that combines the best elements of Midwestern personality and metropolitan sophistication, Minneapolis has built a solid reputation as one of the most interesting and exciting cities in the region, and indeed the entire nation. A vibrant urban center in the land of 10,000 lakes, Minneapolis enjoys well-earned attention for its stress-free atmosphere, great bicycling trails, and culturally diverse population. The city’s robust economy has deep roots, with numerous major companies having operated corporate headquarters in the city for decades (in some cases a century or more). In spite of being a major economic hub, the city is full of surprisingly affordable apartments, condos, and rental homes.
If you live in Downtown, getting around in winter is never a problem thanks to the skyway system.
