Just south of West Point Lake along the Chattahoochee River lies West Point, a charming southern suburb that’s just an hour southwest of Atlanta. Take a scenic walk along the river at the West Point River Park Trails to get a sense of the sprawling beauty that’s just north of the town. I-85 runs right through town, making a commute relatively straightforward or a trip to the big city a breeze.
