About This Home
We lived in this freestanding house ourselves for about 12 years. We've moved a block down the street, and now love to offer this space with exactly what you need, and nothing you don't. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house for privacy. The kitchen is small but workable, and it feels bigger because of the open kitchen, living room, and small dining area. The woodstove is great for curling up in front of on chilly evenings, but it’s not the main source of heat. Each room has its own heater and thermostat, so you can control the temps throughout the house without worrying about the woodstove if you don't want to. The restroom is spacious with plenty of storage. This is also where the full-size washer and dryer can be found. The back yard is mostly fenced, and well-behaved pets are welcome with an additional deposit. (Just adding one gate would make it fully fenced. We can do that for you, if needed.) There’s a cherry tree and a mulberry tree in the back yard, great for snacking and bird-watching in the summer. We love the neighborhood. It’s funky and quirky. If you’re looking for a cookie cutter neighborhood with perfectly groomed lawns, this isn’t it ?? The neighbor on one side is a retired musical instrument repair guy. He can play about any instrument you can think of. Across the street is a local indie band with occasional house concerts (you can’t hear them from inside the house). Next door to them is a wildly talented jazz musician who makes internationally-renowned custom cymbals. And that’s just a handful of the neighbors. We’re all friendly, and I would knock on any of their doors in the middle of the night if I needed help. We are regular folks, not a property management company. We live a block away - the perfect distance so we aren't in your space, but we're easily available if you need anything.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
