If you take a walking trail to the park’s highest point, you can get some of the best views of Rochester. You’ll find locals running laps around the reservoir or using one of the many sports facilities. Cobbs Hill Park also serves as a cultural hub. The park is home to the city’s former water towers and is now adorned in graffiti-style murals. Cobbs Hill Park hosts a variety of festivals throughout the year as well.

Nightly car break-ins inconsistent and non-existent security around the building. The area is unsafe and management refuses to address the issues.

Unfortunately, break-ins have been impacting many communities in Rochester, and we take this matter seriously. Our team is actively working with local law enforcement and remains committed to ensuring the safety of our residents. Best thing about 1600 is the location--walkable to Wegman's, Park Ave, the MAG, GEM, East End. The apartments are smaller than average though. Be careful about which side your apt. is on--the north (University Ave) side is extremely noisy due to the CSX freight trains that run east and west every 10 minutes! The laundry room is cramped--10 washers and dryers serve 164 apts., so sometimes it gets crowded. Concierges are always friendly and ready to help. Club level has a library, aquarium, theater w/DVDs, dining room. The walls are concrete, so you'll need special hooks to hang pictures--regular nails won't work. I would rate it 5 stars if it weren't for the train noise.
